Spirit of Construction Foundation provides a variety of scholarships to students pursuing college degrees geared toward the construction industry. To date, the Spirit of Construction Foundation has contributed more than $666,000 in college scholarships that have helped 278 students. In 2025 alone, we awarded 28 scholarships totaling $79,000.

NEW: Women in Construction Scholarship
We are excited to announce that we recently received $25,000 in funding from the Charlotte R. Schmidlapp Fund through Fifth Third Bank to start a Women in Construction scholarship fund!
We are committed to supporting women pursuing careers in the construction industry through education, training, and workforce development.
We will distribute funding in five $2,000 awards and three $5,000 awards to women pursuing careers in the construction industry who are currently in a construction-related educational program, apprenticeship, or certification course.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must identify as a woman
Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a construction-related educational program, apprenticeship, or certification course
Must reside in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region
Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA (if applicable)
Skilled Trades Scholarship
We are proud to support individuals pursuing careers in the skilled trades. Our Skilled Trades Scholarship is designed to help students take the next step, or stay on track, toward a future in high-demand, hands-on professions. Whether you’re just getting started or working hard to complete your training, this scholarship provides financial assistance to keep you enrolled and achieve your goals.
