Building the
Next Generation
We support local community outreach initiatives that educate young people about the benefits of a career in construction. The programs serve a range of ages, from grade-school students to adults. We provide more than just funds — we also deploy volunteers who share collective insights about the industry and make introductions for those interested in entering the field.

Grant Recipients.
The Spirit of Construction Grant Selection Committe received twenty-eight (28) applications for grand funding totaling $458,323.60 through the 2025 call for funding. Our largest number of requests yet!
The following sixteen (16) non-profits were awared grants at the annual Spring Fling event to further Spirit’s pupose of inspiring tomorrow’s construction industry.
Endowment-Funded
Career Initiatives.
Additional funding was awarded to the following non-profits through the Spirit of Construction Endowment, created to support construction career initiatives (college scholarships, workforce development, construction outreach programs) and funded by generous donors.
Big Impact Investments
Workforce Initiatives
Spirit of Construction unveiled an ambitious vision in 2023 with the launch of the Big Impact donor pledge. Through this initiative, each Big Impact sponsor contributes $25,000 to strengthen the future of the construction industry by opening doors for talented young people from diverse and underserved communities. Together, Big Impact donors are driving change and helping close the skilled trade gap in our region.
